This policy explains what personal data WhiteThread collects when you use whitethread.co, why we collect it, and the choices you have. WhiteThread is operated by its founders and is based in India. If a registered company later operates the site, this section will name it.
who we are
WhiteThread builds AI workflow automation and custom AI products. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@whitethread.co.
what we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call through our calendar, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you enter in the booking form (for example, your company or a note). When you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our host Cloudflare records technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and understand basic traffic. Some of this involves cookies, described in our cookie policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (for example, when you contact us), our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, and the need to take steps at your request before entering into any engagement. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, we process your data for the lawful purposes above with your consent or as otherwise permitted.
who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf. They are only allowed to use it to provide their service to us.
- Cal.com runs our booking calendar and processes your name and email to schedule calls.
- Cloudflare hosts and secures the site and routes our email, and processes your IP address and traffic data.
- Google may be involved when a booking creates a Google Meet link or a calendar invite, and when we read email at hello@whitethread.co in Gmail.
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
international transfers
Some of these providers process data on servers outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
how long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking data for as long as needed to deal with your request and any relationship that follows, and for as long as the law requires. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@whitethread.co. If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
children
The site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
